About Latinhearts Walk of Fame
Our Mission
At the Latinhearts Walk of Fame, our mission is to celebrate and honor Latinos who have broken barriers in Hollywood while advocating for 25% representation of Latinos as American characters in mainstream film, television, and streaming. We are committed to supporting promising independent producers who cast Latinos in leading, non-stereotypical roles, ensuring authentic portrayals that reflect Latinos as all-American.
By creating a vibrant new tourist destination, we aim to highlight the ongoing underrepresentation of lead Latino characters which in the history of entertainment in the USA has never been more than 4%. Our goal is to use this platform as a catalyst for change, inspiring others to join us in our journey of transforming the industry to accurately reflect the true diversity of America.
